The aim of the project is to promote traditional World event Terra Madre https://terramadresalonedelgusto.com/en/event/virtual-journey-through-ancestors-traces/ which brought together farmers, government officials, academics, chefs, consumers, and youth groups in order to preserve and promote the heritage of traditional food and traditional production technique.
The project is conceived as a 6-month journey through the ancestors’ traces through a range of activities. The idea of the project is to bring together all important actors which will contribute to promotion of food heritage and culture of East Herzegovina. The results of the project will be presented in March 2021 through a multimedia exhibition at the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje.
The activity is part of the project” Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development” implemented by SWG RRD in partnership with GIZ.
